If you’re looking for a feel-good story for today, look no further than this piece of news involving actor William Daniels.

Per ABC7 in Los Angeles,  Daniels, best known as Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World and the voice of KITT from Knight Rider, thwarted a burglary attempt on his own San Fernando Valley home yesterday evening (October 29.)  An intruder forced open the back door while Daniels and his wife, Bonnie Bartlett, were at home, and Daniels scared the intruder away by quickly turning on the lights in the home.

Daniels’ publicist said in a statement, “Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded.  They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern.”

Boy Meets World co-star Will Friedle took to Twitter and shared the story with the playful caption, “Don’t ever mess with Mr. Feeny!”

The only thing that could’ve made this story better would be if Daniels also managed to have a wise heart-to-heart with the burglar.  However, I think we can all agree that foiling a burglary is actually a total KITT move.
