TRAILER: ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 2
One of the biggest surprises in TV/streaming last year was the YouTube Red series Cobra Kai, a series reboot of The Karate Kid films that had no business being as good as it was.
Seriously…Cobra Kai managed to make the “Best Of 2018” TV lists at Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly. It really was THAT good!
For fans eager to see what’s next for the rekindled feud of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William “not Billy!” Zabka), the trailer for season two just dropped. It sees LaRusso launching his own dojo, aptly named Miyagi-Do in memory of Mr. Miyagi, to battle the Cobra Kai dojo, which was brought back to life by Lawrence.
Also, Sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) made a surprise return at the end of season one, and he appears to be just as frightening as he was over 30 years ago.
Cobra Kai season two begins streaming April 24 on YouTube Red. For real, if you loved The Karate Kid films, shell out the money to watch the series. It’s worth it.
