Samoa Joe Suspended 30 Days for Violating WWE’s Wellness Policy
WWE announced today (February 25) Samoa Joe has been suspended for 30 days for his first violation of their talent wellness policy.
Both Pro Wrestling Sheet and Sports Illustrated note that Joe has been out of ring action for the WWE due to a head injury. The details of Joe’s violation of the wellness policy, which includes testing for performance-enhancing drugs and other illicit substances, is not yet known at this time.
Joe’s violation follows Robert Roode’s first-time violation in December 2019 and Andrade’s first-time violation in January 2020, per Fightful.
