Little Richard Music Streams Up Over 2,000 Percent Since Death

As with other legends, Little Richard has seen a significant increase in music streams since his death.
Per Billboard, song streams from the late rock and roll icon increased by 2,228% since his passing on May 9. From May 9-10, Richard’s catalog received a staggering 4.1 million song streams compared to May 7-8 when there were only 175,000 song streams. The most popular Little Richard songs streamed in the U.S. during May 9-10, in order, were the following: “Tutti Frutti,” “Good Golly Miss Molly” and “Long Tall Sally.”
Richard died at the age of 87 of complications from bone cancer.
