Paramount+ Announces Pricing, Slate of New Series & Films

Paramount+, the rebranded and expanded CBS All Access, is set to launch on March 4, which we all learned from the streaming service's massive series of Super Bowl ads.

The service will have two price tiers:

-An ad-supported $4.99 version with exclusive live sports, NFL football live, CBS, CBS News On Demand and access to exclusive films and TV series

-An ad-free (except for live programming) $9.99 version with everything listed above plus move live CBS Sports broadcasts, live & local CBS Network news stations and CBS Live TV.

• ‘Frasier’ Revival

  The long-rumored reboot of 'Frasier' officially has a home at Paramount+. The premise of the reboot is not currently, but it will undoubtedly address the passing of Martin Crane since John Mahoney, the actor who played Frasier's father for the entire series run, died in 2018.

• ‘Younger’

  The long-running TV Land original series will be moving to Paramount+ for its seventh and final season. A premiere date is not currently known. Paramount+ also has the streaming rights to the previous six season of 'Younger.'

• ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ Reboot

  The Emmy Award-winning Comedy Central series will get a reboot at Paramount+ in the form of five specials. The show's original run on Comedy Central lasted for four seasons from 2013-2016.
• Live Action Versions of ‘Dora the Explorer’ and ‘The Fairly OddParents’

  Popular Nickelodeon animated shows 'Dora the Explorer' and 'The Fairly OddParents' will be getting live action reboots providing some much needed children's content for Paramount+.

• ‘HALO’ Live-Action Series

  The 'HALO' series has been in the works since 2014 and is leaving Showtime for Paramount+. It's expected to premiere in 2022.

• ‘Mayor of Kingstown’

  Jeremy Renner will star in the new prison series 'Mayor of Kingstown.' Per 'The Hollywood Reporter,' "'Mayor of Kingstown' follows the McLusky family — power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither. Renner will play the head of the McClusky family."
• ‘Rugrats’ Reboot

  The iconic Nickelodeon animated series will be rebooted in a CG-animation style. The series is set to premiere this year.

• A bunch of TV reboots of hit films

  Paramount is looking to it's extensive film library for inspiration for new content for Paramount+. Among the films getting TV series reboots are 'Flashdance,' 'Love Story,' 'Fatal Attraction,' 'Parallax View' and 'The Italian Job.'

• ‘Reno 911!’ Special

  After being rebooted on the now-defunct streaming service Quibi, 'Reno 911!' will return again for a one-off special titled 'Reno 911! The Hunt for QAnon.'
• ‘Workaholics’ film reboot

  The hit Comedy Central show will be getting a film reboot on Paramount+. The release date is not yet known. 'Workaholics' originally ran on Comedy Central for seven season from 2011-2017.
