Helen McCrory, best known for her roles as Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders and for playing Narcissa Malfoy in three Harry Potter films has died of cancer at the age of 52, according to her husband, actor Damian Lewis.

She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."

Peaky Blinder official Twitter also paid tribute to the actress, saying: "Helen McCrory as Polly Gray

All our love and thoughts are with Helen’s family.

Rest in peace."
