Final Autopsy Report Reveals Gabby Petito Died of Strangulation
The Teton County coroner Brent Blue released the final autopsy report of Gabby Petito during a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, per The Washington Post.
It was reported that the cause of death was by strangulation and the manner was homicide. It was also confirmed that Petito was not pregnant.
Autopsy findings and photographs will not be released, according to Blue.
It is estimated that the time of death was approximately 3-4 weeks before her body was found on Sept. 19th at Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. Few other details have been released.
Petito disappeared while on a cross-country trip with boyfriend Brian Laundrie, whose whereabouts are still unknown after leaving his parents’ Florida home roughly a month ago.
