Today, I want to send a huge shout-out and congratulations to my Philadelphia 76ers coworker and friend, Christian Crosby.
Christian is the in-arena host at the Wells Fargo Center for the Sixers and has been since 2008.
He is also an original member of the Dunk Squad, which puts on a show night in and night out during the timeout breaks of each game -- just like he does.
Christian has been chosen by the NBA to be the main host of the NBA All-Star game for the seventh year in a row!

With a streak like that, you know he is doing something right!I have witnessed it firsthand at every Sixers game because he does such an amazing job each time he is on the mic, and he definitely knows how to get the Philly fans going! He truly is the best in the business, and these seven years as the host of one of the league’s marquee events is proof of that fact.
I am so proud of this guy! And it could not happen to a nicer person! He is the sweetest person you will ever meet!
He even took care of my niece, Lily, the night I got to ring the ceremonial pregame bell a couple of weeks ago, while both of them were doing the t-shirt toss during one of the intermissions!

If you needed any more validation that he is the best at what he does, he even hosted Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona last week!
Plus, he has got some mad skills as a hip-hop artist as well, and has some cool vlogs on Youtube if you want to check some out!
And he has over 164 thousand followers on the 'Gram!
Throughout this post are photos of us together throughout the years, and we’ve definitely had some great times together!
Here’s to many more, and hopefully, a Sixers championship to celebrate together in the future!
Congrats again, Christian!
I know you’ll kill it at the All-Star game again this year!
Have fun in Utah!
Mike Jerrick Rings the Bell!
Last night, Mike Jerrick, the host of Good Day Philadelphia on Fox 29 got to do something that had been evading him for quite some time, and I had front-row seats for the whole thing!
Mike finally got to ring the ceremonial pregame bell at the Philadelphia 76ers game before the team took on the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.
The video:
Not only was Mike there, but the stars were definitely in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center last night.
The question is, were they there for Mike, or were they there for the 76ers?
The world will never know!

Howie Roseman, the GM of the Eagles was there!

Jordan Davis:
Eagles’ star rookie defensive tackle, Jordan Davis was there!

And a familiar face was back in the building last night as former Sixers sideline reporter Serena Winters was back doing her duties with her new team, the Cavaliers.
Serena Winters

Everyone there was actually fortunate enough to witness history!
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid became the fastest player in Sixers' history to record 10,000 career points, which took him only 373 games!
He broke the record previously held by Hall of Famer, Allen Iverson!
What an accomplishment.
At the next timeout, it was an honor to say, “With that basket, Joel Embiid took 373 games to score 10,000 points. The fastest in 76ers history surpassing A.I. who did it in 378 games.”
It was one of those moments when you realize how cool of a job doing the public address announcing for the team truly is.
The building then erupted in MVP chants!
Congrats!
The Sixers also took home the win, which is always a good thing.
So congrats to Mike and Joel, and go Sixers!
