The Annual WMGK Turkey Drop 2023 Is Tomorrow
It’s Turkey time! It is officially Thanksgiving week, so you know what that means — it is time for WMGK’s Annual Turkey Drop 2023!
The MGK Turkey Drop 2023 is set to take place tomorrow, November 21st, at a few different locations throughout the greater Philadelphia area, and I could not be any more excited.
The Turkey Drop is presented by WMGK and ACME Markets, and it is designed to collect turkeys and monetary donations for City Team Philadelphia.
If you are not familiar with City Team Philadelphia, they are a great organization that provides meals to less fortunate families in the Delaware Valley. They do amazing work.
Steve and I are set to broadcast live from right outside the Kimmel Center, and it is the first year that our show will be doing the show live during the Turkey Drop.
Yes, that’s right! We are doing the entire four-hour show from 6 a.m. through 10 a.m. right outside the Kimmel Center on Broad Street, and we will be having all sorts of guests stopping by throughout the broadcast.
So make sure you stop by, have some fun, and donate a turkey or whatever you can afford during this holiday season! No amount of money is too big or too small to help those in need during the holidays!
If the Kimmel Center is a little too far for you, don’t worry! We will also be at a bunch of ACME Markets throughout the Delaware Valley. Not only that, but all of our on-air talent at MGK will be out and about at the ACMEs as well to help collect the donations.
In Pennsylvania, the ACMEs we will be collecting at include Clifton Heights (Paul Kelly), East Norriton (Cyndy Drue), Feasterville, Flourtown (Tony Harris), Havertown (Eric Johnson), Red Lion, South Philly, Thorndale, and Trooper (Andre Gardner).
In New Jersey, we will be at Audubon, Voorhees, and Woodbury.
So, if you can make it to any of those, please don’t hesitate!
I am stoked for tomorrow’s Turkey Drop, and I expect to see a bunch of you out there!
If you can’t make it — donate online here!
