Jason Kelce is making a big name for himself in Emmy nominations. People reported that the 37-year-old retired Philadelphia Eagles player earned a third Sports Emmy nomination, recognizing him as an outstanding personality and emerging on-air talent for his “Monday Night Countdown” production.
Following the news of his Emmy nomination, the X account for Kelce's podcast, “New Heights,” celebrated Kelce's recognition. “Gotta add Emmy nominee to your resume now????. Congrats @JasonKelce ????,” the X post said.
Kelce's previous two Sports Emmy nominations came for his Amazon Prime Video documentary, “Kelce,” at the 45th Sports Emmy Awards. This popular documentary followed Kelce as he journeyed through the worlds of football and family behind the scenes in the NFL. “Kelce” was nominated for outstanding long documentary and outstanding editing.
Kelce began his media career after retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024. The Eagles center stayed with the franchise for each year of his 13-year NFL career. He wrapped up that career with a Super Bowl title, six All-Pro selections, and seven Pro Bowl selections. In addition to his podcast, Kelce has hosted an ESPN late-night show, "They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce," which aired earlier in 2025.
