The Philadelphia Phillies will host an evening of friendship, fun, and red bows during Hello Kitty Night at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 6:45 p.m. The Phillies will take on the New York Mets during the evening's matchup.
You'll want to be among the first 3,000 fans to purchase tickets for the event to receive a voucher redeemable for a one-of-a-kind Hello Kitty sherpa bag. Tickets are available now online.
Fans can redeem the Theme Night voucher at the Phillies' Theme Night Kiosk behind section 210 anytime before the end of the third inning.
According to MLB's Phillies webpage, fans must purchase Theme Night tickets directly from the ticketing link above or express their interest at the time of purchase through a Phillies' Ticket Services representative at 215-463-1000. Third-party purchases will not include the item, which is also not a ballpark-wide promotion.
A Philadelphia Inquirer report noted that the bag is made from a fuzzy white sherpa fabric with a pastel pink strap. It is similar to the Lululemon Everywhere bag and features the Phillies and Hello Kitty logos.
A local TikTok user named Fiona has generated significant interest in the Hello Kitty event. Her posts promoting the bag have obtained approximately 45,000 views.
