Bush Vocalist Gavin Rossdale to Host New Cooking Show
Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale is known for his singing and songwriting, but now, Rossdale is taking on a new endeavor: cooking. Rossdale will host a new cooking and conversation series called Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles, which will debut in early 2025 on VIZIO’s free streaming service, WatchFree+.
Gavin Rossdale Hosts New TV Show, Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles
Rossdale created Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles, and it’s currently in production. The program will have big-named guests, such as tennis star Serena Williams, singer Tom Jones, and actors Selma Blair, Brooke Shields, and Jack McBrayer.
“Our show is the culmination of a passionate team collaboration, coming together to make something truly special,” Rossdale said in a statement. “With VIZIO and production partners Roundtable and Bungalow, we’ve been able to bring my personal dream to life in what I hope is an innovative and entertaining show. I’ve found that cooking for people creates intimate and special moments and is a great conduit for deeper, meaningful conversations. Nothing brings me greater joy than connecting with friends and family over a fantastic meal that I’ve created just for them.”
You can watch the official trailer for Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles below. It shows Rossdale cooking and having deep talks with his guests. The part of the teaser with Williams even shows Rossdale singing the Bush favorite “Comedown,” which is appropriate, because Williams is known to be a big rock fan.
“With Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles, we’re tapping into the intersection of food, entertainment, and music to create a show that resonates deeply with our audience and provides an exciting opportunity for brands to become part of the entertainment,” VIZIO exec Adam Bergman said of the program.
There’s no word yet on an exact date that Rockstar Kitchen Chronicles will debut, but VIZIO says that news is coming soon. It’ll be interesting to see if this show is successful enough to spill into another season. I would love to see some metal musicians on the show, because a lot of metal guys, and gals, are into cooking. It’s definitely a cool concept and has a lot of potential.
In other news, Bush recently wrapped up a summer tour, and right now, they only have one more show on the books for the rest of the year. That gig is Oct. 25 at the Grand Theatre at The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It’s possible the guys are working on new music instead of doing gigs, too.
