On Thursday, August 24, hundreds of enthusiastic MGK listners packed Parx Casino 360 bar to see five of the area’s best classic rock cover bands, Hot Dog Cannon, Somerville, The Mad Trio, The Fitch Brothers and Escape – play their hearts out to become WMGK’s next official House Band.
Andre Gardner hosted the festivites. Delaware County’s The Mad Trio blew the judges away and won the competition.
They’ll represent WMGK by playing all of our big events over the next year, they’ll score $1000 in new gear and 2 days of recording time at the renowned Cambridge Sound Studios.
