Steve's Sampling/Brew Blast 2022/ Battleship New Jersey/ Camden, NJ/ Sept. 10, 2022

MGK Brew Blast 2023 will give you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views of the Delaware River and the Philadelphia skyline while enjoying a cold beer with the MGK DJs.

Brew Blast will take place on the deck of the Battleship New Jersey on Saturday, September 9 from 1 pm-5 pm.

The event will feature over 50 beers. 102.9 MGK’s house band Incognito will perform live on the ship deck. DJs Steve Vassalotti and Andre Gardner will talk classic rock with some of their listeners and enjoy an afternoon on the waterfront.

This year’s beer selection will include big-name options like Yuengling and Sierra Nevada, local crafts like Evil Genius and Urban Village, and even Jersey Shore favorite MudHen.

Some of these brewing companies have expanded their selection to include spirits or hard seltzers. Most of them have also expanded their beer selection. All of them have something unique to offer you on September 9.

Purchase your tickets now to come see us on the Battleship New Jersey. Your ticket even includes a free tour of the battleship.

Riverlink Ferry, Riverline Light Rail Train, and PATCO all provide convenient transportation options to the Battleship New Jersey. All people in attendance must be 21 years or older (including any designated drivers).

Whatever your preference, the breweries at MGK Brew Blast 2023 will have something for everyone.

  • Double Nickel Brewing Company

Founder Drew Perry pours his passion for craft beer into Double Nickel Brewing Company in Pennsauken, NJ. Their options touch all the bases with lagers, IPAs, ales, pilsners, and stouts.

  • Evil Genius Beer

Evil Genius is located on Front Street in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. They’ve jumped out to their customers with clever branding for the #Adulting Guava IPA and the Stacy’s Mom Citra IPA. Don’t forget to try Purple Monkey Dishwasher.

  • MudHen Brewing Company

Mudhen Brewery provides a great atmosphere in Wildwood, NJ with live music and outdoor and indoor options for guests. Enjoy one of their rotating drafts or pick up some cans to go.

  • Urban Village Brewing

Visit Urban Village Brewing in Northern Liberties. Their modernized and inviting atmosphere includes trivia on Thursdays and music and live events on weekends throughout the fall months.

  • Yuengling

Yuengling needs no introduction. America’s oldest brewery is located in Pottsville, PA, and it’s stayed in the family throughout generations. The smooth taste of a Lager is the most familiar, but Yuengling has gotten creative with a light lager, a golden pilsner, and even a black & tan. It’s also getting close to that time of year to enjoy an Oktoberfest.

  • Boston Beer/Dogfish Head Brewery

Boston Beer began in 1984, but the company has expanded since creating the signature Samuel Adams. They bought Dogfish Head in 2019, and the craft brew has expanded with seltzers, vodka, and more spirits. Try something new, or stick with the classic Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA.

  • Montauk Brewing Co.

Montauk Brewing offers a selection that includes Wave Chaser IPA, Driftwood Ale, and a Watermelon Session Ale. You don’t have to go all the way out to one of the furthest points of Long Island to enjoy one of their beers. Come to the Battleship New Jersey instead.

  • Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale created a craft beer revolution when it began in 1980. They’ve added the Torpedo Extra IPA and their Little Thing series, among other favorites.

  • DuClaw Brewing

The Baltimore-based DuClaw Brewing has expanded to include availability in 21 states and Washington D.C. since they got their start in 1996. Spoil your taste buds by trying a creative DuClaw.
