This past weekend, we hit one of our favorite food trucks we have ever had in our lives — in all honesty, it probably is our favorite!
Luckily for us, it was in South Philly on Saturday, so it was an easy trip to go check it out and get some amazing food!
Cousins Maine Lobster is the name of the truck and I suggest every one of you check it out if you ever come across it!
You will not regret it!
It is not really a South Philly-based food truck, in fact, it kind of travels throughout the greater Philadelphia area, and maybe beyond, but it just so happened to be in my neighborhood this weekend!
Funnily enough, the very first time we tried their food was at a big event from a show on our sister station down the hall, WMMR!
It was at The Preston and Steve Show’s annual Camp Out For Hunger event!
The past couple of years, they have had a food truck night and Cousins Maine Lobster just so happened to be there.
For some reason, the truck caught our eye that night, so we decided to try it, and instantly fell in love!
It is so good!
On Saturday, my girlfriend got the lobster grilled cheese!
What an unreal combination!
I got the Connecticut lobster roll, where the lobster is served warm!
Delicious!
Plus, you know we couldn’t just stop with those!
We also got the lobster tail tots and both soups, the bisque, and the chowder.
Everything was absolutely phenomenal!
They are actually based in Trenton, New Jersey, but they make their way all around the Delaware Valley.
So keep your eye out for them, and if you do happen to see them, don’t hesitate, just get in line!
You won’t regret it!
I can’t wait to have some of their food again!
What should I get next?
