Ah, the 1980s. Nothing like big hair, acid-wash jeans, and leg warmers. As a treat, here are pictures of MGK’s radio DJs in the 80s.
You know 80’s rock. All of the hairspray, guy-liner, and spandex. The decade of hair bands, metal, hard rock, and headbangers. Long hair was flying and men had bangs. Live-aid, Back to the Future, and an Olympic hockey victory over the Soviet Union.
It’s one of the best eras of music. And so many great artists came out of it all. We know you have these acts on your playlists and listen to them on MGK daily. You probably still have their records, er- cassettes?
Everyone loves a good throwback. So, for fun, we compiled pictures of MGK’s jocks in the 1980s. We all know what they look like now, but do you know what they looked like way back when? Did they have bad hair? Did they wear embarrassing clothes?
A lot of them were already in the radio business! They were just getting their start in the ‘biz. And some, well, they were only just born! These photos are true time capsules of the era we all know and love.
