St. Louis Bar Charges Patrons By The Hour, Not Per Drink
A bar in St. Louis is taking a different approach to a night of drinking by charging patrons by the hour, not per drink.
Open Concept writes on their website, “At Open Concept all of the drinks are on us, although you pay per hour to access the space. At our bar we don’t sell drinks, we sell time. That means for an average price of $10 per hour you can drink as much as you can handle.”
For $10/hour, patrons are able to select from a menu that includes basic cocktails including Manhattans and Old Fashions, as well as some specialty drinks. There is also an option to pay $20/hour, which will add higher-shelf and various shot options.
While Open Concept doesn’t serve food, it does allow patrons to order food into the bar.
