Upgraded Points, a travel website, compiled a list of the best airports for fast food. To allow for more accurate comparisons across airports of varying sizes, they measured the ratio of fast-food options to passenger traffic at every airport in their study. They positioned the total number of fast-food restaurants in each airport against their passenger numbers. To put these numbers in perspective, they found the total possible number of passengers who could visit each fast-food restaurant in each airport based on estimated daily traffic.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) landed in spot number 14. The study found that the airport has a ratio of 13,808 passengers for every fast-food chain. This is 46% below the airport average. What does this mean? According to the travel website, this means shorter lines and more time to enjoy your meal. The Philly airport features choices like Dunkin', Subway, Chick-fil-A, Qdoba, and others.

The study also looked at the most common fast-food places at airports. McDonald's snagged number one with 35 locations. Tied for first is Chick-fil-A also with 35 locations. Followed by Subway (24 locations), Burger King (24 locations), and Panda Express (22 locations).  It's worth mentioning that these are based on the number of locations in the 60 busiest U.S. airports.

Leading the pack is Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Not far behind is Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Next is Ontario International Airport (ONT), followed by Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). Coming in at the fifth spot is Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
