Delco Gears Up for 24-Hour Give Day Fundraising Marathon on May 8
Delaware County‘s biggest nonprofit fundraising event is returning in 2025. The second annual 24-hour give day fundraising marathon, Delco Gives, will run from May 8 to 9.
Delco Gives
Delco Gives encourages Delaware County residents to support the many nonprofit organizations that provide essential services to communities across the county. Every donation made through an online giving platform goes directly to the participating nonprofits. Additionally, organizations can be eligible to receive additional funding support made possible by Delco Gives sponsors and The Foundation for Delaware County.
Last year’s inaugural Delco Gives secured more than $1.7 million from close to 10,000 donors, benefiting 282 nonprofits, according to information provided by The Foundation for Delaware County. Inspired by similar one-day fundraising marathons in Lancaster County and York County, Pennsylvania, The Foundation for Delaware County designed to create its own version, complete with fun events for residents across Delaware County.
Nonprofits interested in participating can register beginning Monday, Jan. 6. Registration will close on April 18. Training sessions for first-time and returning nonprofit participants will take place on Jan. 23 and April 10.
Power Home Remodeling of Chester, Pennsylvania, is the 2025 presenting sponsor for Delco Gives.
