One of the greatest basketball players of all time was in Philly last week. Steph Curry!

The Philadelphia 76ers took to the court at the Wells Fargo Center on March 1, 2025 to play the Golden State Warriors. It was an electric game, with Sixers addition Quentin Grimes leading the team with 44 points. Steph also had a great game, leading the Warriors with 29 points scored.

It's always a pleasure to see such an amazing legend in the city.

Steph Curry

Steph will be 37 on March 14th and is in his 15th year in the NBA. He's a four-time NBA champion, 11-time All-Star, and 2x MVP.

Plus, he is the greatest shooter of all time. He's the all-time leader in 3-pointers made in the NBA. He has the highest career 3-point percentile in NBA history.

And can I say the few times I've interacted with Steph, he is one of the nicest accommodating NBA players out there.

After his legendary pre-game warm-ups, he signs autographs for all of his fans in the stands.

Here's a video of Steph watching me do Sixers intros in 2019 at the Wells Fargo Center.

Also, take a look at the shoes he was wearing! He wears a size 13.5, which actually is a pretty small size for the NBA. For example, Lebron James wears a size 15 and Kevin Durant wears a size 18!

I loved the red color of them. They matched our court perfectly.

Here's a picture of him warming up and getting ready for the game. Did you know people will show up 90 minutes early for games to see Steph warm-up? His warm-up and shootaround is considered to be a "must-see" event.

Steph Curry is an NBA legend. It was an absolute pleasure to see him in person again. He's a great player and an even better person!

Top 11 Moments From Sixers vs. Celtics Game 6 in Philadelphia

Last night down at the Wells Fargo Center may have not been the outcome the city of Philadelphia was hoping for in the end, but it was still a very entertaining night nonetheless.

The 76ers fell to the Boston Celtics by a score of 95-86 after a long battle where they fell just short.

The team battled back from an early deficit after struggling for the first five minutes of the game, and then they remained in control for the majority of the game… until the last five minutes.

That is when things fell apart and the Celtics made the score out of reach.

Now things are all tied up in the series as it heads back to Boston for a Mother’s Day showdown in game 7.

Hopefully, last night was not my last game as public address announcer for the season!

But if it was – which I don’t believe it will be – it was another fun one, for sure!

The stars were out last night, including an All-Pro center for the Philadelphia Eagles and his little brother who happened to beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Yes, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce were in the building enjoying all the pregame festivities and the game itself before it took a turn for the worst!

ESPN was also in the building for the national broadcast, so Brian Windhorst, one of their major reporters, was in the house doing some pregame updates.

The mother of one of the greatest Sixers players of all time was also down at The Center, Ann Iverson!

Happy early Mother’s Day!

Plus, we had a very special bell ringer last night!

Philly’s own, Questlove, the drummer for the legendary group, The Roots, was announced to a loud ovation from the sold-out crowd!

And obviously, I can’t forget the players!

I was able to catch a little bit of Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris warming up, and the unexpected star of game 5, Danuel House, doing his pregame routine.

But the biggest star in the house – at least to me – was my girl Kees!

She is one of the photographers for the team and she does an amazing job!

Follow her on Instagram (@kees2life) to see her work – it is worth it!

Obviously, I think it is safe to assume everyone I mentioned would have preferred to leave the building with a win last night, but the series is not over yet!

Everything we wanted out of this season from the Sixers is still right there in front of us!

We just need the team to go take it!

Go Sixers!
