Recording For NBA 2K25 Was Exciting Yet Again

The conference finals are set to begin tonight in the NBA with game one of the Eastern Conference Finals taking place between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, but NBA 2K is already preparing for next season. Over the weekend, I did some recording for NBA 2K for what will be another appearance in their video game. This will be my fourth year in a row appearing in the game, and I could not be any more excited. The first year my voice made its way onto an NBA 2K game was on NBA 2K22, and ever since then, it has become a yearly tradition at this point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3GU2cYL7uY I also appeared in NBA 2K23 and NBA 2K24. And as I said, over the weekend I took a trip up to New York to do some recording to appear in the latest edition of the video game series — NBA 2K25. Recording For NBA 2K... If you remember some of my older posts, you might remember the past few times I recorded for NBA 2K, it was all the way out on the golden coast in Los Angeles, California. In previous years, I did my recording in LA at Mission Control Studios. Working with people out there like Arlene Kole, Bill Kole, and Brian Buel was always a pleasure. This year, however, there was not a ton of recording needed for the new game because most of the stuff I voiced in the previous three years is still good for this year’s game. So there was no need to fly all the way across the country, so I took a quick trip up to Staten Island and got all of my work done. This year, I did my recording at Fenix Studios, and it was absolutely amazing. Here I am with my headphones on ready to record. I can't believe it's my fourth time in the game. I want to send a huge thank you to Nick and all the staff members at Fenix Studios on Staten Island for making the recording process easy and fun! Also, I can’t forget to thank my car driver Matt for making the ride nice and smooth from Philly to New York and back again! NBA 2K25 will be dropping sometime in the fall and I can’t wait! Let me know if you hear my voice! I’m looking forward to seeing who is going to grace the cover this year. Maybe, they’ll take it back to their roots and have a player on the Sixers on the cover. After all, the first NBA 2K cover athlete was Allen Iverson.
