Chances are fairly high that tonight is the end for the Sixers. It's extremely difficult to come back when you're down three games to one in a series. It's even more difficult when your first elimination game comes in the opponents building. That's where the Sixers are on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024.

The Knicks have just proven to be a tougher team than the 76ers. You get that in a Tom Thibodeau coached team. The Knicks seem to hustle after loose balls more, want more rebounds, they're doing everything you'd expect a hard-nosed team to do. There have been some bright spots for the Sixers in the series, but not enough to do anything but scratch out 1 win.

After the game three win it looked as if the series was going to have a really good shot at heading back to New York tied at two games a piece. Then Sunday afternoon happened. Jalen Brunson put on a show in a building that he played plenty of big games in during his time at Villanova. Really, half the Knicks top guys are totally comfortable playing in the Wells Fargo Center. Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo are all Wildcats.

Brunson put up 47 while the Embiid and Maxey put up a combined 50. Worse was the bench issues showing up at a bad time. The four guys logging minutes of the bench could only muster 6 points. "Not great Bob!"

So after a disheartening effort in game four, the Sixers head back up the Jersey Turnpike looking to stave off elimination for the first of three tries. In a hostile environment, with very little help off the bench and a not fully healthy seven footer I think they pack it in tonight. Not saying it's going to be one of those old Flyers elimination losses where they got crushed, but the 2023/24 Philadelphia 76ers season probably ends tonight.
