Sunglasses: They're the perfect way to tie an entire look together. No wonder rock stars love them!

They're truly the perfect accessory, too. Sunglasses are available at a variety of price points allowing room to purchase them for a variety of budgets. They also come in so many shapes and colors that it's so easy to get addicted to collecting them. No wonder Elton John has hundreds and hundreds of pairs!

In honor of National Sunglasses Day -- which is a real holiday started by The Vision Council to highlight the importance of protecting your eyes from the sun's ultraviolet rays -- here are some of our favorite rock stars wearing sunglasses. Enjoy!

Sure, ZZ Top has a song called "Cheap Sunglasses," but we doubt the shades Billy Gibbons is wearing in this photo were anything but cheap.

Welcome to the jungle! We sure hope you packed your shades!

Slash

Honestly, it was more difficult to find a photo of Slash not wearing sunglasses than trying to figure out which photo of him wearing shades to feature.

Man...it must be cool to be Jimmy Page knowing you've been cool AF for literal decades.

Corey Taylor

Some rock stars wear super flashy clothing, but Corey Taylor keeps things simple with some denim and cool pair of shades. Some people are just effortlessly cool, and Taylor is definitely one of those people.

An icon, a legend and forever THE moment. We love you, Ozzy!

Bono

Fun fact: Bono often wears sunglasses due to the eye pain he experiences from glaucoma. Sure, it's a bummer he has that condition, but at least it gives him an excuse to always look like a rock star. (It's called finding the silver lining, people!)

Taylor Momsen

The singer for The Pretty Reckless is a petite woman that packs monster swagger both on and off the stage. Just look at her in these Ray Bans!

Bruce Springsteen

Not quite sure if The Boss in shades is a "Brilliant Disguise," but he sure does look cool.

Sir Paul rocking a pair of wayfayers will always be fab. Enough said!

Mick Jagger

Sure, these sunglasses Mick Jagger is wearing in this photo are great, but is the scarf he's wearing apricot? Oh, Mick...we bet you think this gallery is about you!

Elton John

Truthfully, we could've just created an entire gallery of Sir Elton in his many, many cool sunglasses.
