Weekdays 2:00pm–7:00pm

The wait is finally over and MGK’s Big Gig is here – today (8/13) we rock to Styx, REO Speedwagon and Loverboy at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden!

Before you get set to head down to the show, here are 5 things you’ll need (or want!) to know (wow, nice rhyme):

  • 1. Tickets Are Available Starting Under $30

Considering the number of hit songs these three bands have accumulated combined, this is a really good value in these days of “dynamic pricing.” It comes out to ten bucks a band!

  • 2. Gates Open At 5:30pm

    Styx In Concert

This gives you plenty of time to find your parking spot, set up a tailgate if you choose, and come on in to be ready for the opening act, Loverboy!  They take the stage, and get the show started (after a John DeBella introduction!) at 7.

  • 3. The Weather Forecast Looks Perfect!

Rare is the day in August you’ll get a forecast like this.  The call is for lots of sun, a high of just 81 and LOW humidity!

  • 4. Freedom Mortgage Pavilion Now Allows Clear Bags On Entry

According to their website, they’ll let you in with small clutch bags and CLEAR tote-style bags that are, as they say, “slightly larger” than a tote bag. No other type of bag is allowed in.

  • 5. Stop By Our Live Broadcast With Matt Cord (and all of us!)

Matt will be live from the Walt Whitman-side lobby (look for the MGK tent – you cannot miss it!) from 4-7, and John, Tony and I will surely be hanging by the broadcast booth as well.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow at our Big Gig!!
