PHOENIX, ARIZONA - OCTOBER 21: J.T. Realmuto #10 of the Philadelphia Phillies celebrates with Bryce Harper #3 after hitting a two run home run against Luis Frias #65 of the Arizona Diamondbacks during the eighth inning in Game Five of the National League Championship Series at Chase Field on October 21, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The boys brought it home. Game 6 of the NLCS playoffs is in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies lead the Diamondbacks in the series 3 games to 2, so we could clinch it tonight!

The Philadelphia Phillies are in their second straight National League Championship Series. Last year, they played the San Diego Padres and beat them to be awarded the title of National League Champions.

This year, they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks who just barely squeaked into the playoffs with an 84-78 record. They are the sixth-seeded team in the National League side of the postseason bracket. That’s the seed the Phillies occupied last season.

Despite being the last team in, don’t sleep on the Diamondbacks. They swept the Brewers (who won the NL Central) in the Wild Card Round in Milwaukee, then swept the number two-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers. SWEPT THEM. That’s impressive.

The series ends here in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park. Let’s make sure we clinch it tonight, Boys!
