Here are the Phillies player playoff walk-up Songs.

I am not sure about you but I have always thought about “If I were a baseball player or a WWE wrestler, what would my theme song be?”

Would I go rock, techno, 80’s, hip-hop, or something super bizarre?  This song would have to be impactful and make it known to the crowd that THE MAN is coming out.

If you followed the Phillies last year, you know the entire team played Calum Scott’s “Dancing On My Own” throughout the playoffs as their hype song.  The song took over the city for the month of October.  It was a blast!

Entrance music is key for baseball players because it sort of hypes them up for the 15 seconds that the song plays.  The player walks from the on-deck circle to the batter’s box all while his name is being announced on the PA system.  That feeling has to be so cool that I am getting goosebumps just imagining it happening to me. Could I even pick one song?  I know you go into the game with the song or songs already pre-selected so I could not choose one that fit that specific moment.

There have been some classic Phillies player walkup songs in the past as well as other Major League Players.  We all know that when you hear Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” former Hall of Fame Yankee closer Mariano Rivera is coming into the game.

Now I am a huge Phillies fan but I still get chills seeing Mo run out of the bullpen. Remember when Chase Utley came out to Kashmir by Led Zeppelin? (This was the only video I could find of Chase’s walk-up song.)

Some other classic Phillie Walk-Up Song were:

  • Pat Burrell using Don Henley’s “Dirty Laundry”
  • Shane Victorino used Buffalo Soldier by Bob Marley
  • Cole Hamels went with Thunderstruck by AC/DC
  • Carlos Ruiz walked up to Phil Collins’s “In The Air Tonight”
  • Roy Halladay would use “Good Times Bad Times” by Led Zeppelin

Let’s take a look at the potential playoff walk-up songs for the Phillies.

  • Kyle Schwarber

Our leadoff batter Kyle Schwarber has a few songs he likes to walk out to.

His first walk-up song is “Grove Street Party” by Wacka Flocka Flame. (Explicit Lyrics)

He goes classic hip hop with his 2nd choice.  Cleveland’s own Bone Thugs – Thuggish Ruggish Bone.

He throws it back and goes old school for his 3rd song!

And last but not least… Living Colour – Cult of Personality.  He may have gotten this idea from wrestler CM Punk who also used this song as his entrance music.

  • Trea Turner

Trea Turner will make his Phillies playoff debut and hopefully, he remains hot at the plate.  For his walk-up music, he goes with 2 songs.

The first one is by Dutch DJ Tiesto and the song is called “Lay Low.”

He goes to a different genre for his 2nd song.  Rapper Future does the track Look Ahead.

  • Alec Bohm

Alec Bohm comes out to Kanye West’s “Famous” from his Life of Pablo album.  During the song, a lady is singing “Bam Bam” which sounds like his last name.

  • Bryce Harper

Bryce is no stranger to the playoffs and being clutch in those playoffs.  Bryce has a staple that he comes out to and then 3 others.

The walk-up song he is known for is Moby’s “Flower.”  “Bring Sally Up, Bring Sally Down!”

Then he goes country for his 2nd song… Morgan Wallen’s “I Wrote The Book”

His 3rd song is by Bazzi called Paradise.

He also likes to come out to Ride With Me by Nelly.

  • J.T. Realmuto

J.T. is the picture of consistency.  He is a very consistent catcher and batter.  He always keeps his walk-up song the same.

  • Bryson Stott

Bryson Stott uses only one song and has remained consistent as a Phillie.  He hasn’t changed up yet and I don’t think he will anytime soon.  He’s played great so why mess with anything?

  • Nick Castellanos

The same as Bryson Stott, Nick Castellanos remains consistent.  He has kept this Drake song the whole season!

  • Brandon Marsh

Brandon Marsh has 2 songs that he uses and both come from Philly native Lil Uzi Vert.

  • Johan Rojas

The rookie has definitely made a name for himself.  Let’s hope he can keep up the pace and continue it into the playoffs.
