Philadelphia International Airport Is Doubling Its Economy Parking
Starting today, May 19th, Philadelphia International Airport is doubling its economy parking. More parking, woo!
Parking at the airport has always been a hassle. You have probably parked at a secondary lot that isn’t owned by the airport before. The economy lot at PHL fills up quickly. Now, with more parking, you can leave your car closer to the airport.
With the flat rate being $15 a day, you’re paying about the same as you would for another privately owned lot.
With summer travel ramping up. it’s really great that they’re adding more parking options. The airport actually economy parking during the pandemic but reopened only some spots last year. Other parking options at the airport cost a daily flat rate of $28, so the fact that there will be more space in the economy lot will help travelers not break the bank.
The economy lot will have 3,600 spots available, which is just stellar considering all the travelling people will be getting up to soon. It’s good to hear that Philadelphia International Airport is doubling its economy parking. This more affordable option is a welcome addition (or return?) for travelers.
So fret not if you have a trip out of PHL on the horizon!
