Jalen Hurts’ Reaction at Buffalo Bills Game Going Viral
Well, that was a roller-coaster of a game. The Philadelphia Eagles took on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday (Nov. 26) in what many thought would be a high-stakes and close game, and they were right. The Eagles came out victorious, 37-34 in overtime. I didn’t see that coming, as I really thought this would be a less competitive game. But, it turned into a nail-biter, and I found myself glued to the TV on Sunday and maybe yelling at it a bit, too. Now, Jalen Hurts’ reaction at the Buffalo Bills game is going viral.
The Eagles’ win over the Bills was really the most exciting game of Week 12, at least in my book. But, no matter how wild things got on the field, and no matter how bad things looked for the Eagles, quarterback Hurts stayed stoic. With the Eagles behind 31–28 with 20 seconds left in regulation, Eagles kicker Jake Elliott pulled off a near-impossible, rainy 59-yard field goal to tie the game. The home crowd went wild, and cameras panned to Hurts to get a reaction.
Hurts is known for staying neutral in such situation and not letting his emotions get the best of him, but this seemed like a special occasion. Still, Hurts looked stern and super serious as the game tied up and went into overtime. Instead of celebrating, all he was thinking about was winning this game, and win, he did. A Bills field goal gave them a 34–31 lead, but it wasn’t enough. The Eagles pulled off a huge win after Hurts rushed in a 12-yard walk-off touchdown.
