Well week 12 was rough. 7 picks. 3 wins, 4 losses. In the old NFL the Eagles have to kick to extra point and that would've covered the 3 1/2. Oh well. I still can't pick the Commanders games correctly, so I think it will put them in the shed and never pick their game again. Pigskin Picks NFL Week 13 has arrived and we're back to our normal 3 picks until Super Wild Card Weekend. As always Pigskin Picks is brought to you by Parx Casino and Sportsbook – this is how you win – must be 21 – gambling problem call 1-800-gambler.
Thanksgiving Weekend Record: 3-4. Overall Record: 25-18
Atlanta Falcons @ New York Jets ATL -2
Someone has to win the NFC south. At the moment it looks like the Atlanta Falcons are just good enough to do it. Craziest part if they win the division is they'll host a playoff game. Currently the Falcons are 5-6 and in first place in the south. They aren't good. The Jets are worse. Arthur Smith seems to have realized things work well when you give your best player the ball, because Bijon Robinson is scoring and making big plays now that he's seeing the ball. This continues against an inept Jets team. Falcons cover the 2.
PICK - Atlanta
Kansas City Chiefs @ Green Bay Packers KC -6
The Packers seem to be figuring things out a bit which is good for a young team. The Chiefs may have figured out which player to get the ball to besides Travis Kelce and Isaiah Pacheco, which is bad new for the Packers. If Rashee Rice is emerging as a go to wide receiver for Patrick Mahomes then Green Bay is in trouble even at home. Even if it's near below freezing temps in Green Bay by game time. Kansas City gets cold too. Chiefs roll at Lambeau.
PICK - Kansas City
49ers @ Eagles SF -2.5
"Talk is cheap. They get to come back in the Linc. It was a lot of boo hoos last year, a lot of crying, a lot of what if, a lot of this, a lot of that. They get a chance to come back in here, line that shit up and prove it again." -Haason Reddick, Eagles DE
He's right. The Niners have been talking about the NFC Championship Game since they got their doors blown off in January 2023. Relive it:
Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk primarily have spouted off about things would've been different... Their own teammate Fred Warner wishes they would not do that and give an already motivated team more motivation. A win and the Eagles all but lock up the 1 seed and home field in the NFC. This one is going to be tight, but it's going to be a madhouse at Lincoln Financial Field. Of course San Francisco could come in and win the game, making the remainder of the season interesting in the NFC. I just can't bet against Jalen Hurts, especialy in big games. Because week after week, to steal from Haason Reddick, "he lines that shit up and proves it again" and again. Eagles cover (*whispers* and win outright).
PICK - Eagles

7 Fun Places In And Around Philadelphia To Take Out-Of-Towners
Have you got family visiting from out of town? We have a list of fun places in and around Philadelphia to take out-of-towners.
If you have friends or family that aren't from here visiting, you have to give them a good Philadelphia experience. They have to understand why we all love it here. Whether they are visiting over a holiday, or coming just because, there are tons of great places to take them.
Most of the items on this list are extremely affordable or absolutely free. You don't have to break the bank to do fun activities with people who are visiting you. Take them out into the great area you live in!
These activities and places are sure to impress and give them a great outlook on the city. Consider this a Philly-Area Starter Pack. These are the places you can take someone to give them a pretty good idea of what we've got going on without spending too much cash.
The Philadelphia area is a fun place for tourists. If they've got you, a native/local, to show them around, you can take them to some pretty great spots.
Here are 7 fun places in and around Philadelphia to take out-of-towners:
Longwood Gardens
Stroll the beautiful gardens for $30 for adults, $16 for kids, and free for super youngins ages 0-4. This is an all-season activity, with different plants on display according to the time of year. Around Christmas, don't miss the nighttime lights that dazzle and sparkle. They are timed tickets, though, so keep that in mind!
Peddler's Village
You can walk around Peddler's Village and not spend a thing, so technically it is a free activity! There are a wide range of shops selling everything from clothes, to food, to fun knick-knacks. You can spend as little or as much time as you'd like. Grab lunch at any of their restaurants! They have tons of holiday-related activities all year as well.
Philadelphia Museum Of Art
Come on, you know they're going to want to see Rocky and run up the Rocky steps. And while you're there, might as well go in and see all of the famous works on display. It's a relatively cheap visit, especially if you have a student, child, or senior in your crew.
The LOVE Sculpture
LOVE Park and Dilworth Park across the street are also must-see attractions for tourists. For one, City Hall is really pretty, and the LOVE sculpture is iconic. But remember, around the holidays, the parks are transformed into a Christmas Village Market and ice skating rink.
Adventure Aquarium
Across the bridge at the Camden Waterfront, the Adventure Aquarium awaits your visit! It's a fun day out for all ages that won't break the bank. They are one of the best aquariums in the entire country. Your visitors will be entranced by the shark tunnel and two cute hippos, Genny and Button!
Your Favorite Cheesesteak Joint
This is a must. Order out or bring them to the shop. Let them experience the "Whiz wit?" question. Their tastebuds will experience the revelation that is a cheesesteak. It only costs as much as you pay for the steaks and the experience itself is priceless.
Overwhelm Them In Reading Terminal Market
This is a fun one. Again, it can be completely free if you don't buy anything. But seriously, bring your visitors here. You will watch their eyes light up with wonder and overstimulation as they traverse the market. Take them to your favorite spot or let them pick. They have something for everyone. There's nothing more Philly than Reading Terminal.
