Everyone loves a good burger, right? I’m a vegetarian, and I even love a good burger, one of the vegetarian kind. Here in Pennsylvania, we’re lucky to have plenty of good restaurants to get a tasty burger. Not only do we have great local restaurants, but we also have plenty of burger chains to get our grub on. So, where do you get the best burger in Pennsylvania?
Let’s talk food. Phillybite.com has a new article out about the best burgers in all of Pennsylvania. In it, they note that “Pennsylvania is one of the best states to grab a great burger or cheeseburger. From bars, restaurants, and classic burger joints, Pennsylvania has them all and a great state to grab a burger or two.” Very true. So, they highlight 12 “must-try” burger spots in the Keystone State. These are restaurants all over Pennsylvania, so no matter where you live in the state, you should find at least one close to home.
Before we get to No. 1, of special interest is No. 2 on the list, which is Lucky’s Last Chance in Philadelphia. It’s the highest Philly restaurant on this list, making it the best burger in Philadelphia. “Lively bar with gourmet burgers, craft cocktails, and a substantial beer menu, plus dancing upstairs,” Phillybite.com says of the spot. They add that, “Must-try is the ‘PB & Bacon’ the 3x Philadelphia Burger Brawl Winner (with) creamy peanut butter, American cheese, & bacon with a side of house-made jelly.” Wow. That sounds amazing.
So, where do you get the best burger in Pennsylvania? No. 1 on the list is The Jackson House in Harrisburg. “This lunch joint draws crowds with cheesesteaks, burgers, and other casual American chow in a former house,” the publication states.
