Getting arrested is a bad idea. It's an even worse idea when you try to escape. This story is coming out of Nashville, Tennessee where a man did both of the above sentences. The scene of the crime is Vanderbilt University's Divinity Library. A 25 year old named Mark Cowart was found enjoying the use of the library's computer system. I mean REALLY enjoying it. The police were called because Cowart was reportedly on the 2nd floor of the library sitting at a computer watching porn. The police received a 2nd call when Mark took, what he believed, was the most logical next step. Police arrived to see him with his pants down and you know the deal. Here is were things get a little slippery.

The Police officers went to grab Mark's arm to handcuff him, but because Cowart had come prepared for the act he slipped right out of the officers grip. Mark's hands were covered in lubricant. He must've been a bit excessive on the amount, because one can only think that the officer went to grab his arm and not directly at his hands. His forearms must've been covered too. Is anyone else getting images of Orlando Jones' character in The Replacements? Although his substance was a sticky gel to catch the ball. (If clip isn't right at the part, jump to 20:48.)

Now what would posess Mark Cowart to do this in public at a University's library? Drugs. Police believe that Mark was under the influence of some substance because they found an M&M's tube with a pipe and some 'tobacco'. Yea, it was probably more than the 'tobacco' he was on that made him pull his pants down and explore the space. He was eventually arrested and charged with public indecency, resisting arrest, and trespassing. His bond was set at $3,500.

4 Ways To Observe National Football Hangover Day

Happy National Football Hangover Day. Well, not HAPPY. Football is over for the season.

On the bright side, it was an exciting game. Both teams were in it the whole time and even took it into overtime. It will go down as a certified Super Bowl classic. Both teams showed up with stellar defense and made it a close game. Above all, it was a great end to a long season.

The overtime finish made it a late night. None of us wanted to get up early and show up to work today. As we know, Super Bowl Sunday is a day when sports fans gather together to celebrate and indulge in food and drink, some in more excess than others. It’s estimated nearly 14 million people call into work “sick” the day after the big game. If this applies to you, congratulations! You officially join millions of other fans nursing a massive football hangover and headache!

National Football Hangover Day was started by ESPN host and sports personality Katie Nolan in January 2019. Nolan reasoned that the eventfulness of staying up late to watch football deserves an entire day to recover the day after.

Here are 4 ways to observe National Football Hangover Day:
