Last week, Bruce Springsteen came to town yet again, and you know we had to be there!

If you remember this time last year, the entire Delaware Valley was stoked to go and see The Boss himself yet again, but due to an illness, he had to reschedule the shows.

Well fast forward to last week, and he made good on those shows.

Not only did we get to see Bruce Springsteen, but he also brought The E-Street Band along as he typically does.

Bruce and the band did not disappoint, which they never do anyway!

First off, the E-Street Band now has up to 18 members.

Five guys in the E-Street Horns, including Jake Clemons. Plus, four backup singers, and the rest of the guys, and Soozie Tyrell.

The band absolutely brought it the entire show, and they proved why they rightfully hold their own spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, completely independent of Bruce Springsteen himself!

They were actually inducted back in 2013 and they remain so good until this day.

The show took place at the home of the Phillies — Citizens Bank Park — and it was actually the second night of two MGK concerts.

We weren’t the only station in attendance either — you know I had to stop by my friend Jacky Bam Bam’s show prior to heading across the street to CBP.

Bruce Springsteen Does Philly Yet Again...

As for the show itself, it was Pattyann’s first time seeing Bruce Springsteen, so we had to make it a time to remember so we got pit tickets.

The pit was rocking the entire time, and signing word for word with The Boss — it was almost like karaoke!

Oh, and I can’t forget, Bruce’s video screens for this tour are humongous, and their clarity is out of this world — easily the best I have ever seen.

As I said, we were in the pit about ten feet from the stage, and I still watched the screen 90% of the time! That’s how good the screens were.

Altogether, the show was amazing, but anyone who has ever seen Bruce Springsteen could tell you that!

Some thought it might be his last time here, but the way he still performs, you never know!

I Did A 45-Minute Bruce Springsteen Live Concert Peloton Ride

A Ride With The Boss...

As you all should know by now if you have been keeping up with some of my posts, I love to ride my bike outdoors. Whether that be riding it from South Philly to Bala Cynwyd for work, going on a 25-mile bike ride through many of the Jersey Shore towns, riding from Philly to the Jersey Shore for charity, or just riding with some friends while visiting the Delaware beaches – one thing is for sure, I can’t get enough bike rides.

Well, sometimes getting outside is not an option. Luckily, I have a Peloton, which I also love to do and it is a great alternative to riding outside when it is raining, too hot, or you are simply just too busy to ride miles away from your house.

Riding bikes is not the only thing I love either and being that I am a DJ for WMGK, I am sure most of you can guess that I also love classic rock, and in this particular case, Bruce Springsteen! So when there is a way to combine two things that I have a passion for, I am all ears!

As it turns out, Jenn Sherman constructed a 45-minute Bruce Springsteen sold-out show ride for the Peloton that has many of his classic tunes playing as you cycle. It is great motivation and has you forgetting that you are even riding for 45 minutes straight!

Jenn Sherman is a huge Bruce fan and is even a big Philadelphia Eagles fan since her husband is from the Philly area. Bike rides, Bruce, and the Eagles? I’m in!

The best part about the ride is that all the Bruce songs are from live shows spanning the entire course of his career, including “Out In The Street” live from his last show at the Spectrum in 2009 – a show that I broadcasted from back when I was with WMMR!

If you have a Peloton I definitely suggest giving this ride a shot, it is so fun! And for all the people who just love Bruce, I’ll post the tracklist for the ride below and maybe it’ll convince you to try this ride anyway you can!

The Tracklist...

Song 1: Trapped (Live)

What a way to get the ride started! On the setlist, it doesn't specify which live show it is from so I figured I would share one from Philadelphia!

Song 2: Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (Live At Paramount Park Theatre, Asbury Park, NJ - 11/24/1996)

The classics keep rolling. What a tune. Everyone knows how legendary Bruce's shows in Asbury Park are throughout the years!

Song 3: Out In The Street (Live at the Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA - 10/20/2009)

The memories this one brings back! I still remember being there that night. What a show to close out an iconic arena.

Song 4: Bobby Jean (Live at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA - 9/14/2016)

Who doesn't love this song? Plus, it was at Gillette Stadium where the Eagles are playing and winning week 1!

Song 5: Born To Run (Live at Madison Square Garden, New York City, NY - 05/23/1988)

Maybe his most iconic song at the most iconic arena in the world! What a performance.

Song 6: Darkness On The Edge Of Town (Live at Wembley Arena, London, UK - 6/5/1981)

From the most iconic arena in the USA to the most iconic arena in the UK. Bruce is worldwide, no doubt.

Song 7: Thunder Road (Live at Madison Square Garden, New York, NY - 09/21/79)

This bike ride is like a time machine. Let's go all the way back to 1979 and listen to the Boss jam!

Song 8: Wrecking Ball (Live at Giants Stadium, E. Rutherford, NJ - October 2009)

Bruce playing in the home of one of the Eagles' rivals. Though, they haven't been much of a rival lately since the Eagles have dominated the series for years.

Song 9: Streets of Fire (Live at Winterland Arena, San Francisco, CA - 12/15/1978)

What song to finish the ride to at the end. What a quick 45 minutes.

The Beginning of My Ride

Matt Cord Peloton

This is my point of view right before the class is about to start. I am pumped to hear some classic Bruce songs.

You know I had to go extra hard when one of the song I actually saw live came on. What a rush.

The End of The Ride

At the end of the 45 minutes, I was ready for another ride! I can't wait to do this again.
