Phish at Atlantic City [REVIEW]
Earlier this month, I went to see Phish for the very first time on the beach in Atlantic City, NJ!
They played three shows in AC this month. August 6th through the 8th with about 20,000 attendees per show. There was a HUGE stage measuring 80 feet by 20 feet, and looked gorgeous when the band hit the stage at sunset.
Per the usual Phish show, there were lots of tie dye shirts in attendance as well as Grateful Dead tees, sandals, and the overwhelming smell of cannabis.
The band played two sets with a twenty minute intermission, and played around nineteen songs; as well as a fantastic cover of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream”! They also played a track titled “Bathtub Gin” that went on for a total of eighteen minutes.
I truly had a blast attending the show, and it was a fun experience seeing Phish for the first time with Philadelphia’s resident Phish Phanatic: MMR’s Casey Boy.
