Does Your Family Have a Puke Bowl
Weeks ago video on TikTok sent the interwebs afire. Now that fire has made it’s way to Twitter. The subject matter in question… The family puke bowl. Did you grow up with a bowl that was used for baking or maybe family movie night popcorn? Did that one bowl also double as the bowl your parents gave you to puke in just in case, in the middle of the night, you couldn’t make it to the bathroom to puke in the toilet. Seems a lot of us grew up in the same houses.
My wife and I didn’t have a puke bowl in our house until last night… My 6 year old had a stomach bug and after throwing up all over himself in his bed, my wife gave him one of our large rectangle Tupperware containers to use in case he didn’t make it to the bathroom. 2 things: 1. He missed the tupperware like 3 times last night. 2. That’s our biggest piece of Tupperware in the house. So I find myself between a rock and a hard place. Part of me is saying “ew, gross throw that away.” While the other part says, “don’t be a wimp. Wash it out, and put that sauce you just made in there.”
At the time of this writing I’m leaning towards wash that thing out…
