Going to a Pennsylvania restaurant that happens to be one of the most beautiful places to eat can really help turn a good meal into a great one. In that spirit, one Pennsylvania spot has actually been named one of the most beautiful places to eat in America by the food experts at People magazine.

People magazine is celebrating their 50th anniversary, and in honor, they’ve released their 2024 Beautiful Issue, where the editors at OpenTable named 50 restaurants as the U.S.’s most beautiful. “These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” People writes. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners.”
Before we get to Pennsylvania, let’s look at some of the other beautiful restaurants in the country. New York City is a big one, because it’s obviously the biggest city in America and, hence, in theory, the most beautiful restaurant in New York City would kind of be the most beautiful in the country. They crowned Verōnika in New York City the most beautiful. “Housed inside the avant-garde Fotografiska photography museum, Verōnika’s Roman & Williams-designed interiors are a luxury escape,” People describes. It sounds lovely. Next time you’re in the Big Apple, you might want to give it a try. Another big one, this time on the other side of the country, is The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, California. “Find sweeping vistas of lush vineyards and manicured gardens from the patio at this Michelin-starred restaurant,” they write. That also sounds lovely. Finally, rounding out the third biggest area in the country, in Chicago, they picked Tre Dita. “Tre Dita’s swanky dining room gazes upon Lake Michigan and the Chicago River through dramatic 40-foot windows,” People writes. As someone who frequents Lake Michigan, I can tell you that there is no bad view of the water.
So, which Georgia restaurant was named one of the most beautiful places to eat by the experts at People magazine? It’s SkyHigh in Philadelphia, which is located in the Four Seasons hotel. It’s so nice to see this local hotspot get the national attention. Of the restaurant, they write, “A glass elevator ride to the 60th floor opens to waterfalls and 40-foot windows showing off stunning views of the city below.” I have to say that beauty and great food make for the perfect combination.
