Pigskin Picks NFL Super Bowl 58

AFC Championship - Sunday 3pm (CBS)

Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens BAL -4

The Chiefs just continue to figure out how to win. Went into Buffalo and knocked off a hot Bills team. Partially thanks to a kicker. Poor Bills fans. This week Andy, Patrick and Travis head back on the road to face a Ravens team that is just on fire. Lamar Jackson is playing out of his mind this year. The defense has been great all year for Baltimore too. I wouldn't be surprised if Mahomes and the Chiefs pull another rabbit out of their hat, but I'm going Ravens here. I think the Ravens cover the four, but just cover. Maybe by a point.

Pick - Ravens

NFC Championship - Sunday 6:30pm (FOX)

Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers SF -7

This one seems like a forgone conclusion already, but you still have to play the game. As much as I hate for it to happen I believe the Lions run for this season comes to a poor ending Sunday night in Santa Clara. The 49ers just seem destined to be in the Super Bowl. The way they managed to scrape by a hot Green Bay Packers team, to now getting the Lions and Jared Goff outside of their dome. He has been great at home, but it is well documented that Goff is not the same QB on the road or outside of an indoor stadium. Maybe he's flips the script, but I just don't see it. I am rooting for Detroit, but SF covers the seven and finally wins the NFC Championship that some of they're guys have whined about for the last year. Go Lions!

Pick - 49ers

10 Memorable Rock & Roll Performances on the Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night.

The world turns their attention to the NFL for one night every year during the month of February (formerly in January). The event always draws a crowd that doesn’t follow football through the fall months.

This crowd has plenty of ways to stay entertained: party planning, every company’s best commercial, and of course the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Philadelphia fans are pumped for their second Super Bowl appearance in six years, but some people are more interested in seeing Rihanna perform at halftime.

While it’s become a showcase for major performers throughout the 21st century, the Super Bowl Halftime Show actually used to consist mostly of university marching bands and local performers. Halftime performances concentrated on themes that had more to do with the game setting through 1991.

Fans of rock & roll have enjoyed legends like the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Paul McCartney in the perfect breaks from game action.
