Throwback to an Awesome Sixers Bell Ringer
The Sixers got back in the win column on Monday night with a 100-88 win versus the visiting Phoenix Suns.
Joel Embiid led all scorers with 33 points in his return to action and things are looking good for the Philadelphia basketball squad again.
While being back in the Wells Fargo Center on Monday, I remembered a great experience I had with one celebrity guest pregame bell ringer from last season.
It was country music artist, Jimmie Allen!
Allen, who is originally from Milton, Delaware, was such a fun person to be around.
During the pregame shoot around, I had the chance to hang out with him for quite a bit, along with Joe Bell, who is Philadelphia’s Beasley Market Manager.
Check out all three of us in the picture above!
Jimmie was such a really nice guy!
Whenever I tune into WMGK’s sister station, WXTU, and they are playing his music, I am stoked!
While we are on the topic of country music and our sister station, WXTU, congratulations to my pal and XTU DJ, Andie Summers!
Andie was just named CMA Major Market Personality of the Year!!
What a major achievement, making the rest of the Philadelphia Beasley Market proud!
