The Annual John DeBella Turkey Drop, presented by ACME Markets & Parx Casino, is the largest one day food gathering event in Philadelphia. John and the MGK air staff spread out around the tri-state area collecting turkey & monetary donations for Cityteam Philadelphia, an organization that provides holiday meals to less fortunate families in the Philadelphia region.

How To Donate
There are two ways you can help WMGK & City Team Philadelphia provide holiday meals to the less fortunate in our community.
1. On Tuesday, November 22, you can donate frozen turkeys, cash, checks, “free turkey” coupons at any of our collection locations.
Checks should be made to: Cityteam Philadelphia. No food other than turkeys will be accepted.
2. You can make a secure online donation now.
We thank our friends at Dietz & Watson for assisting us in transporting all of our turkeys from our ACME Markets locations to the City Team Philadelphia offices.

Donations will be accepted at the following locations on 11/22 from 6a-9a.
1. KIMMEL CENTER (300 S. Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102) – John & Steve will broadcast live & accept your donations. Jose Garces Group will provide delicious free hot chocolate for those that stop by.
