Free Fishing in Pennsylvania Announced for These 2 Days
Like fishing, but don’t like paying for a permit to fish? You’re in luck if you’re in Pennsylvania, because the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced that two free fishing days are coming. Normally, you would need to apply for a season fishing permit before heading out because the state wants money.
This free fishing in Pennsylvania is for you if you think you might like fishing and could use a permit, but want to try it before you buy it. Maybe you want to take your kids to try, but feel buying a permit is a bit excessive in case they don’t like it at all then these 2 days work for you. The two fish for free days are going to be this Sunday, May 28th, and Tuesday, July 4th. All other fishing regulations and restrictions will apply as they normally would on these days. For a full list of the usual regulations you can check here.
