The Philadelphia Eagles Officially Bring Back Kelly Green Jerseys
Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles began their training camp as they look to build on the success of last year, and hopefully, finish the job this time and end the year as Super Bowl champions.
The team has one practice open to the public, which is taking place this Sunday at the Linc, and their first preseason game as a whole is taking place one week from Sunday, August 13, down in Baltimore against the Ravens at M&T Bank stadium.
But today may be the day the fanbase is the most excited for Eagles until the regular season officially starts September 10 versus the New England Patriots.
Today, of course, is the day that Kelly Green returns to the Eagles. The team officially unveiled what this year’s Kelly Green uniforms will look like, and the team officially released jerseys, hats, and any other form of merchandise you can think of for sale this morning.
The team will wear the jerseys for select games this year that have yet to be announced, but when they do decide to wear them, they will look amazing.
These are the same jerseys they wore for over a decade between 1985 through 1995, and I automatically think of players like Reggie White, Randall Cunningham, Wes Hopkins, Jerome Brown, and Fred Barnett when I see the uniforms.
I am stoked they are coming back and apparently so is the fanbase, but we aren’t the only ones. Nick Sirianni, head coach of the team, had this to say when asked about the jerseys yesterday:
“I think they look pretty cool. I look forward to — I won’t do it, but my wife will buy my kids jerseys, and I’m sure that they’ll have Kelly green ones when they have an opportunity to buy them. I think they look cool. I think the one Eagles jersey I have is a Mike Quick jersey that just so happens to be Kelly Green, I think they’re cool. Yeah, I’m excited that the fans are able to get those.”
I can’t wait to get my hands on some Kelly Green gear! All the new stuff will go perfect with my Vince Papale jersey autographed by my buddy Vince, himself!
Plus, word on the street is that they will be selling the Kelly Green jacket that was made famous by Princess Diana! If so, I am definitely going to get one for Pattyann!

I can’t wait to see the streets of Philly flooded with Eagles’ Kelly Green!

Lincoln Financial Field In Philadelphia Is A Top Stadium For Tailgating
According to a new study from Betway, The Linc has ranked among the top arenas for tailgating. Lincoln Financial Field tailgating is simply iconic. I mean, The Linc is a stadium, but still.
The study ranks the greatest NFL tailgating parties according to fans. Philadelphia Eagles fans really know how to tailgate according to this study.
It’s another one of those great American traditions. There’s no better way to get hyped up for a game than hanging with your fellow fans in the parking lot outside the venue. When you walk through a tailgate outside The Linc, the smell of cooking sausage and peppers, the sea of green jerseys, and the absolute tomfoolery the fans are engaging in, all wrap up to make a great day.
Sometimes the tailgate is better than the game itself. Sometimes people tailgate WITHOUT having tickets to the game! We are a dedicated fanbase. We love our team to the max and we show it with epic parking lot parties. And don’t even get me started on all the craziness Philly fans get up to in these lots.
Lincoln Financial Field tailgating is something we as Philadelphians are known for. Our ranking so high is definitely something to be proud of.
Here are the top tailgating parties in the NFL according to fans:
