Did You Hear This MGK DJ in Adam Sandler’s ‘Hustle’?
Adam Sandler’s newest Philly based production, ‘Hustle’, is now streaming on Netflix.
Garnering high praise from critics, the Jeremiah Zagar directed film follows an NBA Scout for the Philadelphia 76ers, Stanley Sugarman (Adam Sandler), who discovers a talented but unknown basketball player, Bo Cruz (Juancho Hernangómez), in Spain. The film chronicles the trials and tribulations of preparing Cruz for the NBA draft.
‘Hustle’ fully embraces the City of Brotherly Love by showcasing various beloved landmarks around the city and surrounding areas. From the 76ers headquarters in Camden to Pat’s Steaks in South Philly, ‘Hustle’ bleeds Philadelphia.
Our favorite ode to the city was the feature of our very own Matt Cord, official announcer of the Philadelphia 76er’s for over two decades, in the films closing credits.
