Philadelphia 76ers First Pre-Season Game
Last night the Sixers started the season, kind of it was pre-season but it was the first game of the 2022/2023 schedule. It’s my 26th year as the PA announcer for the team and it’s still a huge thrill to be part of the show at evry game at the Wells Fargo Center.
The 76ers beat The Cleveland Cavaliers 113-122! On a last second basket by newcomer Montrezl Harrel. Tyrese Maxey also added 21 points in just 15 minutes, I tell he’s going to be even better than last year’s break out sophomore’s season. Such a special and nice kid.
Good to see my coworkers with the sixers back on the court in the picture with me in the picture are our arenas hosts Christian Crosby and Ray Hancock and the man behind The Sixer Stixers Antoine Mapp.
One more pre-season game next Wednesday October 12th against the Charlotte Hornets and then the home opener on October 20th versus The Milwaukee Bucks.
Go Sixers!!
