Shout Out to The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Delco Chapter!
Today, I want to send a big shout-out to a special organization honoring those in a major area of our listenership here at WMGK.
And to top it off, it is actually an organization that is based where I grew up in this area!
Yes, being that I am from Glen Mills, PA, which is squarely in the middle of this area, you know I have to represent this place and organization as much as I can!
The organization I am referring to today is the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Delco Chapter!
The organization recognizes athletes that have brought a great light to the county through their accomplishments on the field, court, track, or any other playing field – and most importantly what those athletes represent off the field.
They have been honoring some amazing Delaware County athletes since 1968.
That is over 50 years of Delco’s finest being put on a pedestal for their great work both on the field and beyond.
Altogether, the Delco chapter has inducted over 500 athletes, coaches, executives, and administrators combined, and I am sure they are all more than deserving.
There is so much more to learn about the organization than I could possibly fit in this post, so I encourage you all to visit their website to read more about the chapter as a whole as well as some of the special individuals that have been honored!

As many of you know, Casey is a proud member of Delco!
Obviously, both of us think the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Delco Chapter deserves some recognition, so definitely go check out their pages!
