MGK’s House Band: Stranger Than Normal
Stranger Than Normal is a cover band that plays what you want to hear! Featuring Lindsay Cleary on lead vocals, Vince Rockey on bass and vocals, Edward A Cleary on guitar, James Olivieri on guitar, keys, and vocals, as well as Matej Branc on percussion.
Stranger Than Normal is WMGK’s 2021 house band, and a high energy cover band with music ranging from rock to pop and everything in between. The group was formed by five very close friends that have a passion for amazing music. Jimmy & Vince are cousins, Eddie & Lindsay are married, we are group of very good friends that go back decades. Combined they have experience playing in large venues and highly acclaimed establishments that include Parx Casinos’s 360 Lounge, Havana’s, Broken Goblet Brewing, Chickie & Pete’s, The Pennypack Park Concert Series, The Buck Hotel, and more. They created the band because of their common musical goals, which is to intrigue the minds and listeners with their original spin on rock music and make music performance that is engaging.
