New Freddie Mercury Music!
On Thursday, Universal Music dropped the video for a previously unreleased — and truly fantastic — version of a song from the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. “Time Waits for No One” was buried in the vaults for four decades, but thankfully it’s been freed!
The recording captures Freddie in his full-throated glory. This is not your typical lackluster posthumous release, it was part of a concept album of the musical “Time,” with songwriter/ producer Dave Clark, leader of the 1960s group the Dave Clark Five. The track is stripped down from the heavily produced, officially released one, and shows Freddie at his sincere and gut-wrenchingly honest best. Check it out!
