Where Was My Invite?
Over the Fourth of July weekend, one of the biggest parties of the year is held every year, where pretty much the who’s who of the who’s who are all in attendance.
And the host of the party is a local guy and one many will know if they are invested in the world of sports, especially the Philadelphia 76ers.
Michael Rubin hosted his annual Fourth of July weekend party on July 3rd in his mansion in the Hamptons.
Judging by all the pictures and videos, it looked like a ton of fun and nothing was off limits — well except the wearing colors in your outfit.
Yes, in order to attend the party, you have to wear an all-white outfit. Everyone there was dressed head to toe in white clothing. It actually looks pretty cool!
Some of the many names in the building for the party include James Harden, Joel Embiid, Tom Brady, Emily Ratajkowski, Jay Z and Beyoncé, Ben Affleck and J-Lo, Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, James Corden, Kevin Hart, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Jack Harlow, Fabolous, Usher, Josh Harris, Mbappe, Micah Parsons, and Robert Kraft.
And believe me, that’s just the surface of the number of superstars that were at this party.
As I mentioned earlier, Michael is a local guy from Conshohocken and actually attended Villanova for a semester before realizing school was not for him.
He then started his own business by selling skis out of the trunk of his car. One thing led to another, and now he is the owner of the brand Fanatics that has the rights to pretty much every sports franchise to sell merchandise.
Prior to last season, he was also a part of the ownership group for the Sixers before selling his share to pursue other things. But he still has his six courtside seats and comes to all the games, including the playoffs.
I’ll have to talk to him at a game, and hopefully catch an invite to next year’s white party!
Though, I’m sure my invite must have just got lost in the mail this year!

Visiting the C&D Canal Bike Trail is a Must Do This Summer
As we all know, Sunday was Father’s Day and I am sure a lot of you guys all got together with your dads and maybe barbecued, enjoyed a nice cold adult beverage or two, and maybe even enjoyed the final round of this year’s U.S. Open, but I did something a little different!
I actually went on a really fun 30-mile bike ride with the girlfriend, my good friend Chris Bozzi, and his 85-year-old dad, Nick!
Can you believe it?
Going on a 30-mile bike ride at the age of 85 years old? It was incredible!
We drove down to Delaware City and rode a beautiful trail called the C&D Canal Bike Trail.
It really is just a gorgeous bike trail that rides along the Delaware Canal and even stretches over multiple states as it starts in Delaware City, Delaware, and ends in Chesapeake City, Maryland.
In total, it stretches 30 miles from one end to the other and back again, and that seems like a lot when you say it out loud, but the trail is so scenic you almost lose track of time and the distance you are going to begin with, to be honest.
Plus, the best part about the trail, especially if you work up an appetite on your ride or walk, is that there is a nice restaurant and bar at the halfway point called Schaefer’s Restaurant & Canal Bar, and you better believe we stopped there for a great lunch on our ride!
The trail was great, the lunch was even better, and you could not have asked for better weather on Sunday, so ultimately it was a great day – so much so that I figured I would share a bunch of photos and a video for you all to enjoy as well!
Take a look at them below!
