Announcing The Wedding Party At The Dawson’s Wedding
Over the weekend, I had a reason to dress up for a special occasion on a fine October night. No, it wasn’t for a Halloween party, but it was for a pretty neat wedding that I got to be a part of for a lovely newly wedded couple!
So first off, congratulations to the amazing couple, Morgan and Matthew Dawson! It was an awesome night.
I actually got to introduce the entire wedding party to the crowd and it was so fun. The crowd was reminiscent of the crowd at the Wells Fargo Center when I do the introductions for the Philadelphia 76ers! They were so excited to hear the wedding party announced!
The wedding took place at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell. Talk about a beautiful venue! Blue Bell is the most beautiful place to be in the fall when the leaves start to change all sorts of colors.
Living in the city, you forget that peak foliage is going on right now!
The colors of all the trees in Montgomery County this time of year are simply beautiful.
Anyway, back to the wedding!
The bride and groom both looked amazing, not to mention that they are huge 76ers fans. So not only did they celebrate their relationship in the form of a wedding, but they also got to celebrate two Sixers wins over the weekend!
Oh, and the father of the bride, Scott Pomante, is also a huge 76ers fan!
All together, the wedding was such a fun night and I am so glad I got to be a small part of it.
Congratulations once again to Morgan and Matthew Dawson on their wedding day, and here’s to the rest of your lives that are filled with, hopefully, many Sixers wins.
Check out some photos below of the great day!

Top 7 Videos From Seeing U2 At The Las Vegas Sphere
As I wrote about a little bit in yesterday’s post, I made a quick trip out to the state of Nevada over the weekend to visit the Las Vegas Sphere. It was such a cool experience and one that would not be possible if it were not for the coordination of one individual, my dear friend, Kevin O’Donoghue.
So I could not start this post off in any other way other than sending a huge shoutout to K.O.D. for executing a fantastic trip to Sin City and everything U2. He made all of us Delco people feel special, including myself, Rob Vito, and Shane O.D.
Now back to the Las Vegas Sphere!
The Las Vegas Sphere was so incredible that I figured I would do another post on it to share every last piece of content I got from there with all the great WMGK listeners. Yesterday, I shared a bunch of photos from my experience – well, today it is all the videos I took from the U2 concert at the industry-changing venue.
The second you walk into the Sphere, you are immersed in a dome-like venue where every inch of the backdrop is a screen that can be used in infinite ways. Come to think of it, the place is still in its infancy stages, so I am sure the innovation will only grow from here for shows in the Sphere.
That said, it is unlike any other venue that has come before it, and U2 delivered incredible visuals for the show I saw over the weekend that would not have been possible without the technology of the Las Vegas Sphere.
Whether that be making it look like you are outside, floating through space, or just the clearest possible picture of the band, it really makes you feel like you are being transported to different locations just with the changing of the screens.
There is not a bad seat in the house, but don’t just take my word for it – look for yourself below!
