Ok, so our headline was slightly crooked, much like our star center’s finger last night! The Sixers’ Joel Embiid did not serenade the Wells Fargo Center with “No Matter What” last night, but he did sustain a gruesome injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder, dislocating his left ring finger during the first quarter. The injury left his teammates and the crowd in a state of shock when they saw his finger pointing in the wrong direction.
Several minutes later, he returned to the game with his finger taped up. “No Matter What,” indeed!
