Like many industries, the music industry did not get to function the way that it normally would. In a lot of ways, those effects were negative. Many tours were cancelled or postponed, and some artists battled considerable health issues. If there was one positive to come from “the pause,” it would be that some artists found the availability to work on new music who would not have done so otherwise. This made for some wonderful releases in the Classic Rock world. Here is a list of 10 of my favorites, not necessarily in order, along with a song/video from each. This list only counts releases featuring new or unheard music. Greatest Hits packages and live albums are excluded.
