In celebration of her birthday, we bring you John DeBella’s best interviews with his friend & Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer, Joan Jett. John DeBella was an early supporter of her music & the two of them are quite friendly, Joan shared her thoughts on David Bowie, getting into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame & the special guest Bowie brought to see her show one night.

When David Bowie passed away, John called Joan to get her perspective on his influence on her & on musical in general. She also discussed hanging with Bowie and what superstar David was standing next to while watching her play a show in England.
When it was announced that Joan would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Joan called into the JDB show to talk about the experience of making it in as well as her relationship with The Who.
Joan called in to talk with John about the female rockers that inspired her, what she wanted to be when she grew up (besides being a musician) and more.
When ‘The Runaways’ movie was set for release, John had Joan call in to discuss the movie, Kristen Stewart’s portrayal of Joan in the movie & how accurately the movie depicted the band’s real life story.
